The Josephine Ford Cancer Center celebrated their 10th anniversary in memory of Josephine Ford, at the Grosse Point Yacht Club. Team Angels was the recipient of the First Annual Josephine Ford Award. The recipient of this award must be philanthropically inclined, have had a significant impact on the JFCC, and/or is an advocate for the JFCC. "The Team Angels possess all of these qualities," said Nancy Schlichting, President & CEO of Henry Ford Health System.
The Team Angels accepted the award thanking everyone for this honor and for the privilege to interact with such devoted and compassionate doctors such as Dr. David Nathanson (breast cancer surgical oncologist and director of the breast cancer services in the department of surgery at Henry Ford health System), Dr. Robert Chapman (JFCC medical Director) and staff. ow and help us support breast cancer research and award one special individual with the Angel on Earth award!
