The Angel on Earth Award was established in 2003 in loving memory
of Nicola Primavera, our "Angel in the Sky". These recipients
truly have earned their titles with their courage and strength. Read
their stories below!
My name is Brenda Bailey. I am 48 years old. I have an 18 year old son named Colin. I moved back to Michigan in June of 2005 to reconcile with my ex-husband Dale. They have both been wonderfully supportive through all this.
In April and May of 2006, I had biopsy's of the breast and lymph nodes. I was diagnosed with Breast cancer in June. The tumors shrank 90% with chemotherapy so I was able to have a mastectomy of the right breast. Chest muscle and lymph nodes we also removed, followed by more chemotherapy. In April I had to have fluid drained from my lungs.
I have had the support of my family and friends. They have helped give me strength when I needed it the most. And I thank them for their prayers and Thank You Team Angels for this special honor. God Bless you all.

Patricia Hallop. I have been married to my husband, Rob, for 19 years.
We have two beautiful children, Luke 15 and Taylor 13. I have worked for
Dr. David Susko at his dental office for 27 years.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past February. I discovered the tumor myself and was very lucky it was only one centimeter in size. I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy (surgery that removes all of both breasts), with immediate implants. I have undergone four months of chemotherapy and do not need radiation.
I have received so much love and support from my family and friends. They have made something so difficult much easier. It has been four weeks since my last chemotherapy treatment and I feel so good!

Dawn
is 32 years old and has a loving husband and three beautiful children
ages 2, 9, and 11. We were honored to have Dawn as one of our models
in the 2004 fashion show. Dawn has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Her will to live and the love and support of her family and friends is giving her the hope and strength she needs to conquer this battle...and she is not giving up!
